Unrequited?

"Rin, a young woman now, stumbles upon Lord Sesshomaru bathing and quickly hides behind a tree. 'Did he see me?' Try as she may, the last few years she cannot deny her attatchment to him has changed into something else on her part. Something... unrequited. 'Don't look, Rin. Just act like you're not here. Who am I kidding? I bet he's smelt you already...'
Her presence does not go unnoticed. He smelt her treking through the woods, heard her almost inaudible gasp when she saw him, and glancing over his shoulder he sees a small edge of a kimono just behind a nearby tree. Over the years he has watched her grow and mature, blossoming like the delecate flowers she so often gave him. And over those years his attatchment to her had changed no matter how much he tried to avoid it. Something that untill recently he believed was unrequited."

Okay, I know this is a lot different from my normal Sesshomaru/Rin stuff. Mainly the fact that this is a romantic piece instead of a father/daughter relationship. The truth is that even though I prefer the latter of the two, I can honestly see it go either way. I know fan art of Sesshomaru bathing isn't anything new, but I wanted to get his hair, not his abs. And I'm still working out the appearence of Older Rin. I wanted to go with my thought that if they DID become a romantic duo that it would be a gradual change as she became older and they both change over the years. So I guess this is a little while before their relationship would become a mutualy romantic one instead of believing that it was unrequited.
Quick sketch with No.2 Mechanical on printing paper. On Photoshop, I used the burn and dodge tools, adjusted the brightness/contrast, tinted black and white w/ a shade of blue, and last but not least threw in a Rough Pastel filter which I'm real happy with. However I may end up editing it because there are some things I'm not thrilled with and if I do I'll be sure to post it. But don't hold your breath waiting
