YAY! Uploads!
Drawing, coloring, photography/photo editing, hopefully I'll even start posting my paintings that I've been working on. Even considering posting my still life & life sketch book that I've been using since 2009. It feels very good to be back in the habits. As a matter of fact, I've recently taken on a coloring commission that is opening a new door to me: colored pencils. It is a series of six line art prints she wants me to color for her so she can paint them on some kind of fabric screen; basically I'm coming up with a kind of "paint by numbers." But I haven't had much experience in colored pencils, so I've been learning quite a bit as I go and will most likely continue working with them after this commission is done.
Also, I have another genre I'm starting to learn - music. I got my first guitar on 12 Dec '15 and have been learning and practicing every day since. It is a Mitchell MD100 acoustic I got at my local Guitar Center for a very cheep price and I am in love! Fingerpicking is what is coming more naturally to me as playing with a pick is a frustrating pain in the ass - in other words, what I need to work more on. The chords and notes are actually rather easy to pick up on, though. Generally, I play a bit before work, during my breaks and lunches, and after I get some artwork done at home. It is very relaxing to play, hear, and feel at the end of the night.

Just dropped in...
To see what condition my condition is in.
Damn, it's been a while, hasn't it? At least in terms of being active on here other than just browsing. You see, I have been working on getting my lilly white ass on the road. Full timing is the goal. I got my van (my little Goldmember) a few months ago and have been building the inside into a living space. All that is left to do is get a power source for my house battery hooked up (saving up for solar!) and get my animal situated. Then hello, world!
Aside from that, I have been sketching here and there, fiddling with my guitar, and writing short stories for my end of the night emails at work.

Wow, what a year
Well, I never did do any of the flower and garden drawings I wanted. Actually, today was the first day I have picked up a drawing pencil in many months. This turned into the most trying years of my life so far. A friends betrayal left me without a car, so I spent 2 months walking ten miles every work day then another 2 1/2 months bike riding it. Changed state laws that I found out about the hard way screwed me over even more, lost a very good friend and two cats I was very close to, my bathroom floor rotted out from water damage so two months were spent on that, and many other things that kept me tip-toeing on thin ice.
But, there we
Gardens! And maybe something for the fanart...
Hey guys! Unfortunately with certain life events that have just recently come to a screeching halt, I haven't been working on much of my fine arts as I would like and I have not been on DA very much. But another reason is because I've been playing with another form of art. The Green Thumb I have inherited from both sides of my family has been rearing it's head and screaming: USE ME! Last year was the start of it all, but this year, I have been expanding and creating gardens since the ground started to thaw in March. So far, the amount of added garden has exceeded 1,200 square feet and I still have one more I have to extend. So the art o
THANK YOU!
Holy crap, guys! Thank you all SOO much for all of the favorites, watches, comments, and support! I did the Sesshomaru fanart a couple of years ago and I sure as hell didn't expect such a big response now days! And to see that branch into my other work makes me so happy. I'm sorry if I haven't given direct responses, but there are so many and I'm still working through them >.>
Sincerely, thank you all, you wonderful, crazed people!
